Hw and FPGA/PLD design

The SinTau experience in HW design covers the development of embedded systems, the design of FPGA, PLD and ASIC, and the analysis and modeling of systems. Microcontroller knowledge ranges from Cortex Mx, ARM7/ARM9/ARM11 up to Cortex Ax, from single core ARMs to dual cores and quad cores up to the x86 family. The interfaces used and developed range from Ethernet (Fast and Gigabit) to xDSL (ADSL2/2 +, VDSL2 and HDSL2), WiFi (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n) to GPRS/3G/4G. Other fields of interest are Voice over Video over IP and Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). Telecommunication systems have been developed based on ARM, PowerPC, MIPS and x86 processors in applications ranging from SOHO routers, terminal concentrators, high reliability industrial routers, POS-IP gateways, to signaling SOS stations in VoIP technology, M2M devices, PSTN-to-GSM gateways, VoIP gateways, Video/Voice over IP intercom multimedia devices, EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) charging stations, and industrial rooters in the railway sector, to multi-utility concentrators.
The FPGA/PLD design covers the Xilinx, Intel (formerly Altera), Lattice and Microsemi environments. The programming languages are VHDL and Verilog. The projects developed covered the areas of SDH/Sonet, Ethernet, GFP, virtual and contiguous concatenations, VLAN concentrations, clock recovery systems, management and control systems for TAV signaling buoys, train safety systems.
